Browser combat and building: Riftline, Bullet Factory and Earth Haters

Choose between tactical rounds, ammunition production and an oil-building prototype. Creator links, controls and save limitations explained.

Browser combat and building: three different starting points

Riftline, Bullet Factory and Earth Haters are real creator-hosted browser games, but their combat loops are very different. Riftline is a tactical shooter, Bullet Factory makes ammunition production part of defense, and Earth Haters is an in-development oil-business game with nightly attacks. Pick the loop you want, rather than treating them as interchangeable free shooters.

We checked the creator pages on October 20, 2026. The details below come from their current descriptions; the suggested first-session goals are ours. This is not a measured performance comparison, completed walkthrough or endorsement of a prototype’s eventual roadmap.

Riftline: learn the objective and controls in Practice

Mudit Pathak publishes Riftline as mestrike. The page lists six agents, three maps and eight modes, including Practice, Tactical, Duel and Custom. Its objective involves planting or stopping a Rift Charge; online rooms use codes. Keyboard controls include WASD, mouse aiming/firing, R reload, C/Q/E abilities, X ultimate, F plant/defuse and B armory.

Our recommendation is to begin in Practice and learn the objective interaction before organizing a room. Test one agent’s controls rather than trying to memorize every ability immediately. The public page is not a verified ability-damage table, so we do not declare a strongest agent or a fixed winning loadout.

For a group, agree whether you are learning or competing before sharing a room code. We have not measured connection quality, matchmaking population or controller support on specific devices; the creator’s support claim is different from our own compatibility test.

Bullet Factory: make a complete ammunition path

Neovalpox’s Bullet Factory page identifies MagicalWind as publisher and describes browser demo 0.7.4, limited to The Scrapyard. Players mine scrap, connect machines with conveyors and robotic arms, supply turrets and fight as an engineer. The page also warns that spent casings outside the factory can become monsters.

Follow the tutorial and use its current bindings or Options rather than an invented keyboard chart. The creator recommends keyboard/mouse and a recent WebGL 2 browser. English and French are available, and progress stays in that browser.

Our suggested first goal is one understandable production-and-delivery path before expanding. Trace where an input comes from, where ammunition goes and what happens during a wave. If a defense fails, inspect the supply path before adding more machines. This is planning advice based on the documented loop, not a tested optimal layout. The full-game five-biome description should not be mistaken for five available demo sectors.

Earth Haters: a local save number is not a cloud account

The creator describes Earth Haters 0.3.0 as single-player; multiplayer has been removed for now. Its save number refers to local storage in the same browser and device. It does not transfer a world to another device, and clearing site data deletes browser saves. That limitation matters more than an apparent “save code” suggesting cloud access.

The documented opening starts with no money or inventory. The creator describes interacting with locals, using the house computer, buying equipment and connecting it with tubes. Controls include WASD movement, F for the computer, R building, T tubes and X packing equipment. Esc opens settings and F6 the save settings.

Our recommendation is to establish a working small setup and understand saving before a long session. Inspect the current graphics presets if readability or responsiveness is poor. We do not reproduce the entire economy as a guaranteed money route, and have not independently benchmarked production or night survival.

Choose one useful test for the first session

For Riftline, verify that you can move, use one ability and interact with the objective. For Bullet Factory, make a supply chain you can explain. For Earth Haters, understand the local save and connect a small production setup. Those are different definitions of a successful first session.

When reporting a problem, include the game version, browser and the action immediately before it happened. A reproducible observation helps a creator more than an assumed cause. For a different pace after testing, our browser racing selection compares creator-described modes without inventing a common leaderboard.

Frequently asked questions

Is Bullet Factory’s whole game playable in the browser demo?
The creator labels the browser build a free demo of The Scrapyard. A description of five full-game biomes is not a claim that all five are included.
Can an Earth Haters save number move my world to another device?
No. The creator explicitly says saves are local to the same browser/device. It is not a cloud-transfer code.
Is Earth Haters multiplayer?
The current 0.3.0 description says multiplayer was removed and the build is single-player. Older material should not override that current note.
