Official code versus third-party reports
RUSTY is printed on Zucchini Studios’ official Rust Blaster Roblox description, checked October 21, 2026. The developer does not state its reward amount there. Destructoid reports $140 for that string; that amount is a secondary report, not a number independently supplied by the developer or confirmed by our own redemption.
Destructoid’s October 20 article also lists 500k, cord and 8pm. Their reported contents appear below with the source attached. We have not redeemed any of them in the Roblox client. In particular, 8pm is described as limited to 100 redemptions: appearing in a published list does not mean any allocation remains when you arrive.
The useful distinction is provenance. One string has a public first-party announcement; the additional strings and item amounts have a named secondary source. Neither category should be presented as a guarantee that a specific account can still claim a reward.
Redeeming and checking the result
Destructoid reports a Codes button on the right of the screen. Its procedure is to launch Rust Blaster, open that button, paste into Enter code, and choose Redeem. We have verified the published instructions, not the current position of the controls inside a live session.
Before claiming, note the balance you expect to change. Cash, Candy, Dust, spins and a running boost are different results; checking only one total can make a successful claim look unsuccessful. Read the game’s response after each attempt and preserve the code’s punctuation and case when copying it.
If the right-side option is missing, compare the creator and place ID with the official link before searching elsewhere. Do not install a browser extension or an external “code activator” just to redeem a string. The instructions cited here use the game interface, not a third-party login page.
An exhausted limited claim, an already-used reward and a mistyped string need different responses. We do not label a code expired merely because its limit might have been reached; the current client message is the evidence that matters for your attempt.
Halloween Candy is a separate progression goal
The developer advertises a Halloween event through November 1, with Candy earned by cleaning relics. Its description names a Frankenstein Gem costing 2.5 million Candy and advertising a +100% bonus, plus a Nightmare Crate restricted to owners of that gem. Those are developer-stated event details, not evidence that the promo codes pay for the complete unlock.
Our advice is to compare a one-off code reward with the actual event price before choosing a goal. A few thousand Candy may help without making the larger unlock realistically immediate. Check the current event panel for the remaining duration and requirement before spending a scarce currency.
Do not treat a chance-based crate as a promised return. We have not measured the event’s drop rates, calculated a reliable completion time or tested how its bonuses combine with every other upgrade. A shopping decision should rest on the displayed cost and the reward you actually want, not an assumed jackpot.
Where the cleaning loop and trading fit
Rust Blaster’s official description centers on removing rust with lasers, selling relics for Cash, and improving progress through gems, drones and rebirth. It also advertises a cross-server gem market. Those systems explain why code lists can mention several currencies without those currencies being interchangeable.
For a first session, our suggested order is to understand one clean-and-sell cycle, identify the upgrade you want, and then see whether your claimed reward contributes to it. Avoid planning a whole build around a limited code you have not successfully claimed. Market prices also should not be read as guaranteed resale proceeds.
If you want ring-combat XP rewards instead, the Lanterns codes page has a separately sourced list and its level restriction. For a harder action-adventure game, see Bloodlines codes. Always redeem within the matching experience.
Frequently asked questions
- Is RUSTY official?
- The string is published in the developer’s Roblox description. Its $140 reward is reported by Destructoid; GameRadar has not verified that amount in a live redemption.
- Can I still use 8pm?
- The secondary source says only 100 redemptions. We cannot confirm remaining availability. Check the in-game response rather than assuming it works because it appears here.
- Are Candy and Cash the same?
- No. The developer describes Candy as Halloween event currency, while cleaned relics sell for Cash. Check which balance a reward changes before spending it.
