All 22 Pokémon: play the All-22 builder and draft a winning team
Play All 22 Pokémon free at all22pokemon.com: how the 22-spot football draft works, what each position wants, and how to score high.
Where to play All 22 Pokémon
You can play All 22 Pokémon free in your browser at all22pokemon.com: draft Pokémon into the 22 starting spots of an American football team, then see how the lineup holds up over a 17-game season. It's a fan project created by @ColeThereum from an idea by @OldTownJB, not an official Pokémon game.
The homepage opens on the lineup builder. Tap or click a player to swap them out, hold or hover to see their stats, and drag one onto another to switch spots. You can also choose a 3-4 or 4-3 defense, a fullback or slot offense, toggle a kicker and switch sprite styles. Share your team as an image or link when you're happy with it.
How the 17–0 and 151 challenges work
The builder is a free sandbox. The challenges are where scores count:
- 17–0 Challenge: each round rolls a region and a type. Draft a matching Pokémon into any open spot, with up to 3 Legendaries. Fill all 22, then play the season.
- 151 Challenge: each round rolls a random Pokémon from the original 151 and you place it anywhere. You get 5 rerolls.
Your formation is locked in for the whole run, so pick it before round one. Signed-in players get finished runs posted to a leaderboard that keeps your best, shown with your X handle (X accounts must be at least 30 days old).
What each position looks for
The official scouting guide explains the grading without revealing exact numbers. Every Pokémon gets a fit rating from its base stats, size and type:
| Position | Key stats | Type bonus |
|---|---|---|
| QB | Sp. Atk (HP, Sp. Def, Speed help) | Psychic, Normal, Dragon |
| HB | Attack, Speed | Fighting, Ground, Normal |
| WR / Slot | Speed | Electric, Flying (Slot also Fairy) |
| OL | Defense, Weight | Rock, Steel, Ground, Fighting |
| DE / OLB | Attack, Speed | Fighting, Dark (+Dragon or Bug) |
| CB | Speed | Flying, Dark, Ghost |
| S | Sp. Def, Speed | Flying, Psychic |
Sp. Atk works as "arm and touch", and Sp. Def as composure and reading the play. Height only matters for wide receivers, tight ends and corners, topping out around 7'3". Weight matters most on the lines and at fullback. Type bonuses are a nudge that can settle a close call but won't save a bad fit.
How your team score is calculated
The Team Score is out of 1,000 and averages your starters' fit ratings, with some spots weighted more:
- The quarterback is the most important single spot, but your five offensive linemen together count for even more.
- On defense, ends and cornerbacks count most and safeties least.
- Weak spots count extra. Your worst fits drag the score down harder than a star lifts it. The homepage specifically says your four weakest spots pull the whole team down.
The kicker isn't part of a challenge Team Score. The free builder doesn't grade your team at all, only the challenges and games do. Season opponents range from 350 to 910.
Draft tips for a high score
Use the grading rules to plan picks:
- Fill the line early. Heavy, high-Defense Rock or Steel types are the clearest fits for five heavily weighted spots.
- Don't spend a fast Pokémon carelessly. Speed is key at receiver, corner, safety, halfback and pass rusher, so a speedy pick has many homes. Put it where you have the fewest alternatives.
- Save a Legendary for a scarce spot. Legendaries follow the same rules as everyone else, so they only help where their stats fit.
- Protect the floor. Because weak spots are penalized, a solid starter in your worst position often beats upgrading a spot that's already good.

Beyond the builder: BOWL, PRO and Franchise
The site has grown fast since going live on October 8, 2026. According to the patch notes, ALL-22 PRO now plays in all nine regions with online multiplayer, while ALL-22 BOWL stays Gen 1–4 for now. Franchise mode adds Gym Leader teams, a salary cap, trades and drafts. All modes use the same fit ratings, so what you learn in the builder carries over. Check the patch notes before trusting an older guide, because modes change almost daily.
Frequently asked questions

- Yes. It's a free browser fan project at all22pokemon.com. Signing in is only needed for leaderboards and syncing.
- Does the builder show a team score?
- No. The scouting guide says the free builder doesn't grade your team. Scores come from the 17–0 and 151 Challenges, the Fantasy Draft and the BOWL and PRO games.
- Can I see each Pokémon's exact position rating?
- No. The creator keeps exact numbers hidden so you scout by eye. The scouting guide tells you which stats and types matter.
