Echodelve demo: three heroes, ten floors and browser-save limits

Which Echodelve demo does this guide cover?

This guide covers echodelve-demo by lescoderbr on itch.io, a turn-based dungeon RPG inspired by Buriedbornes. The creator lists three heroes—Cleric, Ghost and Vampire—and The Catacombs, a ten-floor dungeon. This is not a guide to a different same-name mining project, and we do not repeat the keyword brief's claim of five tutorial floors.

The checked page supports browser play and English or Portuguese. We read it on October 23, 2026; we have not completed the dungeon. Below, published mechanics are separated from our suggested way to learn them. An official feature list establishes what the creator describes, not a winning route, tested build or guaranteed outcome for a particular hero.

Choose a hero to learn one resource loop

The creator pairs Cleric with holy light and Faith, Ghost with frost and Chill, and Vampire with blood and lifesteal. Those identities help you choose a learning focus, but they do not establish an objective ranking. We have not measured their damage, survivability or success rates, so there is no invented best starter tier list here.

Our suggestion is to keep the same hero for an initial comparison rather than change character after every difficult fight. Read the current skill description before acting, especially any resource cost or remaining charge display. Record which choice you made and what changed afterwards. A clear observation about one skill is more useful than assuming the three heroes share identical timing or that a theme such as lifesteal guarantees survival.

Distinguish building resources from spending limited charges

The page says Light Strikes build a resource and Burst orbs, while Final Strikes spend them. It also states that skills have limited charges per run. Keep the original names in view when matching this guide to the interface; these are named mechanics, not a promise that a translated button will use our wording.

Before choosing an action, inspect both the immediate resource change and any longer-term charge cost shown by the game. Our planning recommendation is to ask which constraint is stopping you: a resource you can build now or a limited use you may want later. Do not assume every attack restores everything, or that waiting automatically refills a skill. We have not verified an exact rotation, charge-restoration item or boss-specific sequence. Use the current descriptions instead of spending from an imagined infinite supply.

Treat ten floors as a learning target, not a known route

The advertised dungeon includes elites, events, mini-games, sanctuaries and a final boss. The page also lists loot, runes, relics, a talent tree and Hero's Echo. Their presence does not tell us which encounter appears on a numbered floor, which item will drop or how much a particular upgrade changes a fight. We do not fabricate a floor-by-floor walkthrough from those category names.

After a failed attempt, choose one question for the next: was the problem understanding a skill, spending too many charges early or overlooking visible information? Keep that question separate from a claim about hidden difficulty rules. If you change hero, equipment and decision order together, it becomes harder to identify which change helped. This is a learning method rather than a tested strategy for clearing the final boss.

Keep browser progress separate from the full-game purchase

The creator explicitly says demo progress stays in the browser and does not carry over to the full game. The page describes the complete game as adding fifteen heroes for eighteen total, twelve dungeons, further systems and offline Windows/Linux downloads, without ads or microtransactions. These are creator claims about a separate product, not extra content unlocked in the browser demo.

Do not clear browser site data expecting it to repair or transfer progress; browser-local storage may be the only copy you have. We have not verified cloud sync, an export tool or recovery after deletion. Check the creator's current instructions before changing devices. For another demo with separate release expectations, see ArcheAge Chronicles; for other small RPGs, see our browser RPG selection. Their save rules are not Echodelve's.
